How do I install the Fujitsu fiC scanner on Windows 7 bit? I have the Fujitsu fic scanner and use it on my Windows XP. I tried a number of things to get it to work with the old driver but it would not. JasonB Apr 15, I tryed it but the result is the usual error code 10 any other idea? How can this be resolved. Vista Drivers for a Fujitsu fi4120c scanner (or lack of….)
What’s new New posts New media New media comments Latest activity. The Fujitsu fiC scanner is not officially supported in Windows 7, but in the past I know I’ve somehow got it installed using the Vista driver.
I spent several hours figuring it out, but Vuescan will work with Windows 8 x64 and the Fujitsu fic and I would bet vitsa dollar Windows 7 x64 as well using this same method.

Posted on Jan 21, Please assign your manual to a product: You can connect the scanner to a Linux Saned Server and access it ac a network device from any Windows. If for some reason Microsoft won’t allow that link, you should be able to do something like the additional steps below to make it work. You may have to install the fujitsu drivers from the package manager of the distro you choose, but once you do that, support for SANE within programs is generally very good.
I suggest you have another look at this.

Are there any other 3rd party scanner drivers I can use to get this scanner working in Vista? After I did that programs recognize it, the scanning tool works, etc.
I tried a number of things to get it to work with the old driver f-4120c it would not. Pain in the rear though. You’ve got to draw a line somewhere otherwise it just gets stupid.
